Philanthropy Advising

Drawing on years of leadership at a Texas foundation, Lynda partners with medium and large foundations on strategic planning, board development, and effective program implementation. She has supported three funder collaboratives through formation, strategy development, and the process of capturing and applying lessons learned.

Nonprofit Consulting

Lynda brings her passion for optimizing nonprofits to her work with mission-driven organizations seeking to strengthen sustainability and magnify impact. Her work centers on strategic planning, leadership development, and effective board governance, with a clear eye toward streamlined procedures that encourage rapid implementation. She has worked with organizations ranging from new, founder-led start-ups to established medium-sized nonprofits.

Facilitator Training

Lynda's facilitation is grounded in the Liberating Structures portfolio of facilitation methods. By rapidly activating groups of any size, these methods drive progress toward specified outcomes and generate enthusiasm along the way. Lynda is recognized nationally for her expertise in designing effective online meetings and she co-facilitates in-person and online immersion workshops for people and organizations seeking to strengthen their facilitation skills. Since 2019, she has led the Central Texas(ish) Liberating Structures User Group, an online, global community where facilitators gather monthly to practice, learn, and refine their craft together.

SIM Workshops

Lynda has designed and co-facilitated dozens of Sequential Intercept Model (SIM) Mapping Workshops across Texas. These interactive, community-driven workshops support the adoption of best practices and strengthen cross-disciplinary coordination to improve mental health and justice outcomes for youth and adults. Recently, she developed an innovative follow-up workshop designed for communities that completed the SIM process in earlier years and are ready to revisit priorities, respond to changing needs, and refresh action plans.
